A plan beats a bigger army.
This field manual teaches new Frontier Command players to build a base, manage resources, and lead an army to victory.
01 / Gather resources
Your harvesters automatically mine cyan crystal deposits and return cargo to your command center. Train more harvesters for a stronger economy.
02 / Establish your base
Select a structure from the build panel, then tap an open spot inside your command radius. Refineries generate energy; barracks unlock combat units.
03 / Raise an army
Train Rangers and Siege tanks at a completed barracks. Training takes a few seconds. Field up to 30 mobile units and combine speed with firepower.
04 / Give clear orders
Click a friendly unit to select it. Click open terrain to move. Shift-click adds units. Select army or press A to command all combat units together.
05 / Fight tactically
Your combat units fire automatically at enemies in range. Attack orders push toward the enemy. Hold stops your units; sentry turrets secure your base.
06 / Secure the sector
Destroy the enemy command center to win. Losing your own command center ends the mission. Review your performance and retry with a better plan.

Field questions
What should I build first?
A barracks lets you train Rangers. A second refinery increases your energy supply. Start with a barracks, then balance economy and defense.
Why won’t my structure build?
You need enough crystals and energy, an open location, and a position within 13 tiles of your command center. Avoid resource deposits and existing structures.
Can I save my campaign progress?
Yes. Sign in with Google or a secure email link. Finished mission records, campaign unlocks, and settings are saved privately to your account.
